Hard Voltage, event visuals
Event credentials and merchandise for the Finnish electronic music event collective I used to co-run: wristband and lanyard systems for the collective’s event nights (Hard Voltage, DQUG, Bass Train, Infinity, Genesis) at 200 to 2,000+ visitors, t-shirts, fan merch. Normal and VIP tiers per event, runs of 400 to 1,200 pieces, and the manufacturer proofs that got them printed right.
Where I stand today: I co-ran the collective, then stepped back to a pair of hands on event days, selling merch and arranging whatever needed arranging. Since moving to Spain I haven’t been able to take part at all, and picking it back up is high on the list for when I move home.
Honest attribution: the wristband, lanyard and merch designs are mine, and so are the logo alterations on them. The event marks themselves are not: the Hard Voltage isotype and logotype came with the collective, and LeKurb’s logo belongs to the partner act. The lightning-T inside the Hard Voltage logotype is my alteration, as is its use across the credentials and the first merch run. A different discipline from the case studies, the same eye.
